Mission of Kids Run Long Island

Kids Run Long Island is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit with a mission to inspire our Long Island youth to be the best they can be through guidance and  development of leadership skills.

Passion - Leadership  - Service​ 

Who do we give to:
  • Local Non-Profits that serve local youth to help kids with physical and mental health as well as support for teen suicide prevention programs
  • Local Non-Profits that serve families and kids of breast cancer patients
  • Youth who apply for our Leadership Scholarships under the Robert Burns Memorial Scholarship Program
  • Youth who apply for our Inspire Together LI community grant program- up to $1000 to complete a community project that makes our world a better place.

Inspire Together Long Island - a new youth leadership project for ages 5 yrs old to 19 yrs old. Youth receive up to $1000 micro grants for community projects. Apply NOW!

Robert Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund - Scholarships
granted to youth who demonstrate a passion for sports or the arts as well
​as leadership qualities. Applications will be released Spring 2024.

This facebook group is for LONG ISLAND moms, women, runners, wanna-be-runners, walkers, and women interested in becoming more fit. Let's come together to support, share and encourage what we do to balance our goals in fitness and living a good life. 
CALLING ALL TEEN VOLUNTEERS:  Are you a teen or college student who wants some volunteer hours?  Please email us at kidsrunlongisland.org and write Volunteer in the subject line.  We ALWAYS have volunteer opportunities on StrongHer 4k on April 27th and Thanksgiving Day in the morning.
